Directions
By road: Helsby Methodist is on the A56, 7 miles from Chester, in Cheshire. To find us take the M56 towards Chester, exiting at Junction 14, turn left onto the A5117 and continue on this road. You will see a sign after a mile for Helsby village. Stay on this road, and after ½ a mile you will pass a small shopping arcade on your left hand side. Helsby Methodist is on the right hand side of the next bend with a car park for 60 cars just behind the church.
The photo is of the car park entrance from the Chester end of the village.
By Rail If you are travelling by rail you can reach us from either Manchester Piccadilly, or Chester. The train needed is the Llandudno to Manchester Piccadilly stopping train, or Manchester Piccadilly to Holyhead. There are trains once an hour during the week, but this can vary at weekends. Please check with train operators.
Once you have exited the station turn left, and follow the road towards the main road. You can then see the front of the old church building, which is now our lower hall, in front of you. Cross the road and turn to your left, and you’ll see our church building. If you live in Helsby and need transport to a service please contact the office.

Twelve Baskets - sharing resources for the good of allTwelve Baskets is a new website, supported by the Methodist Church, which allows people who produce PowerPoints, mini-movies, music, written word and images to sell and share their work quickly and easily at no cost to themselves.
For a small fee, others will be able to download material for projection, magazines, posters etc, without having to worry about any copyright restrictions. The originator will earn royalties, and 10% of profits will go to charity.
There is a vast wealth of resources sitting on people's computers that could be of great value to the whole Church. Twelve Baskets aims to build a vast and accessible online library, improving the quality of resources for worship, event publicity, and otherwise spreading the message of God.
So visit www.twelvebaskets.co.uk and start sharing your work.
